The year is 199X. The S.D.A (Self-Defense Agency) of Tokyo, Japan has received a mysterious message of an attack on Japan. Enemies of military weaponry lurks within the city. To make matters much worse, King Ghidorah appeared out of nowhere and starts attacking the city of Osaka. Military counter-attacks were used against the enemy monster, but it proves to be no match for the creature. All hope seems lost, until the S.D.A had finally thought of a plan that may work against this serious threat. Godzilla, who has a history of terrorizing Japan, has the abilites required to defeat the enemy monster. However, due to Godzilla having no will to protect Japan, and is sleeping in the bottom of the sea, Professor Ogata installs an operation box to control Godzilla, and have him fight against the enemy. Using the Super X, this new strategy was quickly executed. Fortunately, their plan had succeeded, and Godzilla has awoken. But for how long can Godzilla and his fighting spirit be controlled?
